Harold Dominick Webb (11 September 1925-10 January 1945)
Webb was born September, 1925, in Amelia, Ohio. He enlisted in the Army November 20, 1943, and volunteered for the paratroopers.
Webb joined 1st platoon of Easy Company, 506th PIR, after the Normandy campaign and jumped into The Netherlands on September 17 for Operation Market Garden.
In December, 1944, the 101st Airborne was sent to The Ardennes in defense of the town of Bastogne.
Webb fought through the harsh conditions and the coldest winter seen for years in Europe. Sadly, on January 10, 1945, he was killed in action during the advance west of Foy and Recogne.
Webb is buried back home in Ohio, and remembered on the memorial dedicated to the men of Easy at the Bois Jacques near Bastogne.
