PFC. Eugene E. Jackson (July 29, 1922 - February 15, 1945) was a soldier with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during World War II. Jackson sadly died in Early 1945, from injuries sustained when he tossed a grenade into the house that damaged half of his face from shrapnel and neck while several members of Easy company attempted to save him but failed as he kept yelling in pain and “I don’t want to die!” He was the only Casaulty of the Patrol.
Jackson was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers by Andrew-Lee Potts.
